KMSMC Sialkot condemns acid attack on female doctor

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) A special condemnatory meeting was held at Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College, Sialkot (KMSMCS), to protest the tragic acid attack on a female doctor in Quetta.

The meeting was attended by faculty members, postgraduate residents, house officers, and MBBS students.

Huma Kiani Sehgal strongly condemned all forms of violence against doctors and healthcare professionals. She emphasized that ensuring the safety, dignity, and respect of medical personnel is a collective responsibility of society.

Prof. Dr. Huma Kiani Sehgal reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to raising its voice for the protection and welfare of healthcare workers across the country.

At the conclusion of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of the affected female doctor from Quetta, who is currently undergoing treatment in Karachi.
