KMSMC principal visits SCCI to strengthen institutional collaboration

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Principal Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College (KMSMC) Prof Dr Huma Kayani Saigol, accompanied by DMS Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Dr. Aneel Kumar and her team, visited the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) for a meeting with the business community leadership.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Huma Kayani Saigol expressed her heartfelt gratitude to SCCI President Syed Ahtesham Mazhar for honoring the convocation ceremony of KMSMC upon her invitation. She appreciated the Chamber’s continued support for educational and healthcare institutions in the region.

The discussion also focused on strengthening institutional collaboration between KMSMC and the Chamber, particularly in areas related to the upgradation of teaching faculty, academic excellence, and institutional support.

Both sides emphasized the importance of industry-academia cooperation to enhance medical education standards and healthcare services in Sialkot.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to work jointly for the betterment of medical education and community health facilities in the region.
