Kite sellers arrested in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) Police continued their crackdown on kite sellers across the district, arresting two suspects and recovering a number of kites.

The operations were conducted on the directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq.

Under the supervision of DSP Kharian Circle Shahid Mahmood Gujjar, SHO Sadr Kharian Inspector Tauqeer Ranjha, along with Incharge City Kharian Police Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar, arrested Saifullah, a resident of Mohallah Naya Ara Kharian, and recovered 185 kites from him.

In a separate operation, carried out under DSP Lalamusa Circle Chaudhry Ehsan Zafar Sandhu, SHO Rahmania Police Station Inspector Rai Fayyaz Ahmed, along with ASI Muhammad Asif and other team members, arrested Shahzad, a resident of Sultanabad, recovering 20 kites from him.

Separate cases have been registered against the suspects.
