DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) The district police in Paroa Circle carried out a series of successful operations against criminal elements, rescuing a kidnapped minor, arresting suspects involved in drug trafficking, and recovering stolen property.
According to police spokesman, acting under the supervision of DSP Paroa Muhammad Saleem Khan Baloch, SHO University Cadet Zafar Abbas led targeted actions that resulted in the safe recovery of a 14-year-old boy, Muhammad Fayyaz, who had been abducted from Kotla Qaim Shah. The police also arrested the accused, Abdullah, a resident of Nawab.
In a separate development, the police recovered a tractor trolley worth Rs 1.5 million that had been stolen three days earlier and returned it to its owners.
Continuing the crackdown, two individuals identified as Abdul Rehman, a resident of Chajjri, and Fida Hussain, currently residing in Muzaffargarh, were arrested for alleged involvement in drug trafficking. The police seized 950 grams of hashish from their possession and registered cases against them.
DSP Paroa stated that operations against criminal elements would be continued without discrimination.
