Kesoo Mal Kheal Das welcomes tax relief for salaried class, budget measures

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) State Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kesoo Mal Kheal Das on Friday welcomed the government’s announcement of tax relief for the salaried class.

Talking to media outside Parliament, he said the relief was a major step for salaried individuals and reflected a long-standing demand for support measures for this segment.

He said it was the prime minister’s desire to provide maximum relief to the common man, adding that the budget reflected this approach.

The minister also appreciated the allocation for the Karachi water project and said relief measures announced for other sectors, including industry, agriculture and IT, would benefit the overall economy.
