Kashmiri youth term Operation Marka-e-Haq a strong message of hope to the freedom movement

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Jammu Kashmir Young Men’s League leaders, Chairman Naseer Wani, Vice Chairman Zahid Ashraf and Secretary General Shahid Nabi, in a joint statement paid glowing tributes to the architects and participants of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq on the completion of one year.

According to a press released received here on Sunday, the leaders said that Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq revived hope, courage and determination among the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir and sent a strong message that the sacrifices rendered for truth, justice, and dignity can never be suppressed by force. They said the historic resistance became a symbol of steadfastness and strengthened the resolve of the Kashmiri people for their legitimate right to self-determination.

The statement further said that the people of Kashmir continued to face severe repression, illegal detentions and human rights violations, yet their spirit remained unbroken. The leaders reiterated that the mission and sacrifices associated with Bunyan-un-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq would continue to inspire future generations in their struggle for justice and freedom.

They urged the international community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and relevant UN resolutions.
