Karachi Traffic Police Announce Alternate Routes Before PSL 11 Match

KARACHI: Traffic police have issued a traffic and parking plan for the first playoff of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, scheduled for April 28 at the National Bank Stadium. 

Sir Shah Suleman Road

As per the information provided by Karachi Traffic Police, Sir Shah Suleman Road will be kept open in both directions to provide ease of movement to the citizens of Karachi.

Parking for Spectators

Via Karsaz Road

Spectators arriving via Karsaz Road may travel along Habib Ibrahim Rahimtoola Road to access their parking spots at the National Coaching Center (NCC) and China Ground via the side road on the stadium flyover.

Via Millennium Mall

Spectators arriving via Millennium Mall are advised to use Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi Road to access their parking spots at the National Coaching Center and China Ground via the side of the stadium flyover.

Via New Town

Spectators arriving from New Town will use Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi Road to access their parking spots at the National Coaching Center and China Ground via the side of the stadium flyover.

Restrictions on Heavy Traffic

Heavy traffic will not be permitted to cross the following roads:

• From Sohrab Goth to NIPA.
• From Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square.
• From PPP Chowrangi (Jail Chowrangi) to University Road.
• From Karsaz to the National Stadium.From Millennium Mall to New Town, and from the Stadium Signal to Hassan Square.

Heavy Traffic Restrictions

Heavy vehicles are strictly prohibited from the following routes: Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square, PP Chowrangi to University Road, Karsaz to Stadium, Millennium to New Town, and Stadium Signal to Hassan Square.

Authorities urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement and traffic police to avoid inconvenience.

Vehicles and motorcycles should only be parked in designated areas and not on service or main roads.
