Pakistan vs Zimbabwe Women 2026 is the talk of Karachi as Zimbabwe’s 15-member squad touched down on Wednesday. This historic tour marks their first-ever visit to Pakistan, promising an intense six-match white-ball series from May 3 to 15.
The visiting contingent arrived at Jinnah International Airport on Wednesday evening. Pakistan women’s team manager, Ayesha Ashhar, personally welcomed the players. After a brief rest, the squad heads to the National Bank Stadium Karachi on Thursday for their debut training session.
The Series Roadmap: ODIs and T20Is
The action kicks off with the ODI series at the National Bank Stadium. Fans can catch the matches on May 3, 6, and 9. Following the 50-over format, the teams shift focus to a high-octane three-match T20I series on May 12, 14, and 15 at the same venue.
World Cup Preparations Heat Up
For the home side, these T20Is are vital. They serve as a final warm-up before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England and Wales, starting June 12. After the Zimbabwe series, Pakistan will fly to Ireland for a T20I tri-nation tournament against the hosts and West Indies from May 28 to June 4.
