Karachi Press Club organizes seminar to commemorate Iqbal Day

Karachi Press Club on Wednesday organized a seminar to commemorate Iqbal Day in collaboration with Karwan-e-Iqbal titled "Iqbal Aur Asar-e-Hazir"

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Karachi Press Club on Wednesday organized a seminar to commemorate Iqbal Day in collaboration with Karwan-e-Iqbal titled "Iqbal Aur Asar-e-Hazir".

Chaired the seminar, eminent researcher and intellectual Dr. Moinuddin Aqeel said there is a dire need to disseminate the message of Iqbal’s thoughts to the new generation. He added that the most effective means of popularizing Iqbal’s thoughts is education.

On the occasion a steering committee was also formed regarding the new formation of Karwan-e-Iqbal and the involvement of youth, and in November, a large-scale Iqbal Conference would be held with the partnership of individuals and institutions working for the promotion of the message of Allama Iqbal and his teachings.

Renowned literary including Dr. Moinuddin Aqeel, Fasihullah Hussaini, Qazi Muhammad Shoaib, Farooq Sami and Dr. Zafar Iqbal addressed the seminar.

On this occasion, Dr Aurangzeb, Ashar Khan and Abdul Rahim Mutaqi recited the Kalam-e-Iqbal. A large number of attendees attended the program and appreciated the organization of the program.
