Kalat hosts celebrations marking 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) The District Administration of Kalat on Monday organized grand celebrations and a rally to mark the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China friendship, highlighting the enduring bond between the two nations.

The rally was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Shah Nawaz Baloch and saw participation from heads of government departments, traders’ associations, tribal elders, and members of the public.

Starting from the DC Complex, the rally passed through Shahi Darbar Road, Harboi Road, and other key locations, with participants chanting slogans in favor of Pakistan-China friendship.

Security arrangements were effectively managed by the police to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

Speakers at the rally emphasized that Pakistan-China relations are a shining example of mutual trust and timeless friendship, noting that both countries have stood by each other in difficult times.

They highlighted that this bond is not limited to diplomatic ties but is deeply rooted at the public level, reflecting strong people-to-people connections.

ADC Shah Nawaz Baloch, addressing the participants, declared “Long live Pakistan-China friendship”, reaffirming the commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The enthusiastic participation of the public in the celebrations was seen as a powerful expression of the resolve to continue nurturing this partnership, with hopes that both nations will achieve new milestones of development and prosperity in the years ahead.
