July 19, 1947 reflects historic aspirations, decision of people of Kashmir: CM Murad

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2026) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on the occasion of Accession to Pakistan Day said that July 19, 1947 reflects the historic aspirations and decision of the people of Kashmir.

He said that Accession to Pakistan Day symbolizes the deep ideological affiliation of the people of Kashmir with Pakistan.

The people of Kashmir expressed their bond with Pakistan through a historic resolution, the Chief Minister said adding that the people of Kashmir have made unparalleled sacrifices for their right to self-determination.

The Chief Minister Murad said that despite oppression and repression the resolve of the Kashmiri people has remained unwavering.

He said that the unwavering commitment of the people of Kashmir to Pakistan is a bright chapter in history.

He said that the people of Pakistan and the Government of Sindh express complete solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

The Chief Minister said that the Government of Sindh will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination.

Murad said that Accession to Pakistan Day conveys a message of steadfastness in the pursuit of truth, justice and freedom.

He said that Pakistan will continue to stand by the people of Kashmir until they attain their legitimate rights.

The Chief Minister said that the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people is a struggle for peace, justice and human dignity.

Accession to Pakistan Day reminds us of the historical, cultural and emotional ties between Pakistan and Kashmir, he said adding that the sacrifices and resilience of the Kashmiri people are worthy of respect for the entire Muslim Ummah.
