JI to launch protest campaign to highlight corruption of KP Govt

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) Former Minister and Ameer Jamat Islami (JI) North, Inayatullah Khan has said that party would launch street movement and protest demonstrations after Eid to aware public about the mass corruption of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, a series of demonstrations and street movement would be launched after Eid to highlight the corruption and malpractices of KP government.

He alleged that KP government is still busy in deceiving people by its policies and added that Ramazan package was announced to benefit elected representatives rather support needy and destitute.

He said that government has recovered 12.8 billion rupees through taxes and same amount of Ramazan package was being announced to disburse money among elected representatives of ruling party.

We are not against distribution of money among poor but the amount must be given to marginalized segments of society without any discrimination rather benefitting blue eyed, he said. He also stressed upon KP government to create jobs for younger generation and facilitate them to earn respectable livelihood.

He also urged other political entities to raise voice for public and said that JI has decided its own course of action that would be followed after Eid.
