ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) Nazima of the Women's Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad, Qudsia Namoos has urged Muslims on Eid ul-Fitr to translate the teachings of Ramazan into daily social life, stressing that piety, charity, and brotherhood must extend beyond the holy month.
Qudsia Namoos issued a heartfelt Eid message in which she said that Eid ul-Fitr is not merely a festival of joy, but a powerful reminder that the discipline, devotion, and selflessness cultivated throughout Ramazan must now be put into practice within society.
"The comprehensive training of Ramazan — built on worship, piety, patience, and sacrifice — is meant to shape the individual into someone who is truly beneficial to those around them," she said. "Eid is the moment we are called to bring that transformation into our collective lives."
Namoos emphasised that the Islamic significance of Eid goes far beyond festivity.
"This day teaches gratitude, brotherhood, compassion, and mutual love," she said, adding that the discipline and devotion maintained during Ramazan should not be abandoned once the month ends, but continued as a way of life.
She further stressed that the true joy of Eid can only be complete when the less fortunate are made part of the celebration. She urged citizens to fulfil their obligations of Zakat and Sadaqat, ensuring that orphans, widows, and the underprivileged are not left behind while others rejoice.
Concluding her message on a note of unity and prayer, Namoos called for special supplications for the solidarity of the Muslim Ummah and for the peace, security, and stability of Pakistan. She prayed that Allah grant Muslims across the world brotherhood, strength, and steadfastness on the path of truth — and that the oppressed Muslim communities worldwide receive divine support and relief.
