Jatak expresses satisfaction with Pakistan’s effective, timely operation against terrorist elements

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) Provincial Minister Haji Ali Madad Jatak on Monday expressed satisfaction over Pakistan’s effective and timely operations against terrorist elements in some areas of Afghanistan.

He said that no compromise would be made on national security, saying that it is our constitutional and legal right to take action against any land used against Pakistan.

He said that the footprints of elements involved in terrorism in Pakistan, especially Balochistan, who had come here from Afghanistan, adding that in this regard, Pakistan’s political and military leadership has informed the Afghan authorities with evidence and details several times.

He made it clear that those who play Holi with the blood of innocent citizens of Pakistan would be pursued to their graves and no one would be allowed to play with the peace of the country.

Haji Ali Madad Jatak alleged that India wanted to sabotage the peaceful environment of Balochistan through its proxies, saying that, however, Pakistan’s brave forces and security agencies are fully capable of thwarting the enemy’s evil intentions.

He said that we have recently crushed a country twice the size of Afghanistan, so the enemy elements should not be in any complacency.

He urged the Afghan government to play the role of a responsible and good neighbor and not allow its territory to be used by terrorist organizations. Pakistan reserves the right to take all possible measures to protect its national security.

The provincial minister reiterated the resolve that the establishment of peace in Balochistan, the continuation of the development process and the protection of the lives and property of the people will be ensured at all costs, and the complete eradication of the scourge of terrorism is the top priority of the government.
