Italian Consul General visits Children Hospital Korangi (CHK)

The Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology (SICHN) on Tuesday hosted His Excellency the Consul of Italy, Fabrizio Bielli, at Children Hospital Korangi (CHK)

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) The Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology (SICHN) on Tuesday hosted His Excellency the Consul of Italy, Fabrizio Bielli, at Children Hospital Korangi (CHK).

A key feature of the visit was the inauguration of newly acquired 22 modern ventilators from the Italian company ‘’SIARE’’., which will significantly enhance the hospital's critical care capacity and further strengthen the delivery of life-saving services.

The Consul appreciated the efforts being undertaken by SICHN to improve pediatric healthcare infrastructure and acknowledged the impact these advanced medical devices would have on patient care.

Hospital's administrative heads, Dr. Jamal Raza and Dr.Rehan , Italian Consul General Mr. Fabrizio Bielli expressed his strong support for SICHN and assured his continued assistance in future initiatives.

The visit served as an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between SICHN and Italian institutions and companies in the field of pediatric and neonatal healthcare.
