PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) A female lecturer at Islamia College Peshawar has accused a group of students of creating unrest, issuing threats, and harassing faculty members during a semester examination on campus.
According to a complaint submitted to the university administration, the incident took place during a second-semester sessional test when several students allegedly refused to take the examination and attempted to disrupt the process by pressuring classmates to boycott the test.
The lecturer claimed that some students tore examination papers, shouted slogans inside the classroom, and temporarily confined teachers and female students by locking the classroom door from outside.

The teacher said she and the students present in the classroom faced fear and mental distress during the incident and managed to leave the department after considerable difficulty.
The matter has been brought to the notice of the Vice Chancellor, with a request for disciplinary action against the students allegedly involved in the incident.
