Islamabad Jeep club elects new leadership for two year term

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Elections of the Islamabad Jeep Club (IJC) have been concluded, resulting in the formation of a new leadership team for a two-year term.

According to details, a 13-member Executive Committee was elected during the elections.

Later, a special meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee was held at the residence of former club president Dr Nadeem Naeem, where elections for key office bearers were conducted.

The following members were elected to key positions: Dr. Ehsan Kiani — President; Asadullah Marwat — Vice President; Imran Ahmad — General Secretary; Hasan Aziz — Finance Secretary; Syed Imran Hyder — Media Secretary; and Syed Tufail Ahmad — Joint Secretary.

On the occasion, the newly elected office bearers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the club’s 26-year legacy by promoting off-roading, adventure sports, and responsible tourism across Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Aamir Malik, founder of the Islamabad Jeep Club, in his congratulatory message, extended heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected office bearers and wished them success in the club’s future progress under the new leadership.

It is worth mentioning that the Islamabad Jeep Club has been actively promoting off-road culture in Pakistan for nearly 26 years. The club regularly organises off-road expeditions in different parts of the country and participates in national-level rallies.

Its activities also include mountaineering, summer and winter camps, family adventure trips, and recreational programs for youth aimed at promoting environmental awareness, teamwork, and safe adventure practices.

The club has also remained active in social welfare and humanitarian efforts. In times of floods, natural disasters, and emergencies, members have participated in relief operations, rescue support, ration distribution, and rehabilitation activities.

On numerous occasions, the club has played a leading role in charity and relief work wherever assistance was required.

The newly elected leadership expressed hope that over the next two years, the Islamabad Jeep Club will be further strengthened and organised on modern lines to give new direction to off-roading and adventure activities in Pakistan.
