IRGC claims more than 100 military and security sites were struck using multiple types of missiles in Israel

TEHRAN: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-March 18th, 2026) Iran carried out missile attacks on Israel following the reported killing of senior figure Ali Larijani, with casualties and damage reported in Tel Aviv.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the strikes were conducted under “Operation Vaad-e-Sadiq 4,” described as the 61st wave of attacks targeting Israel.

The IRGC claimed that more than 100 military and security sites were struck using multiple types of missiles.

The developments mark a sharp escalation in tensions, with both sides yet to issue further official statements on the broader implications of the attacks.

Iranian state media reported that some missiles were fitted with cluster warheads. Initial reports from Tel Aviv indicated that several vehicles were destroyed, fires erupted at different locations, and buildings sustained structural damage. Israeli sources confirmed that at least two people were killed in the attacks, while details of additional losses are still emerging.

Separately, Iranian media claimed that Ali Larijani was killed in a recent US-Israeli strike in Tehran. His son, Morteza Larijani, was also reported to have died in the same incident, which allegedly took place in eastern Tehran.
