Intellectuals pay tribute to Mhammad Usman Diplai

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) Bazm-e Rooh Rihaan, in its weekly literary sessions, hosted an event in memory of Muhammad Usman Diplai Sahib and welcomed Saleem Chana, who was recovering well.

Presiding over the session, renowned writer Professor Dr Qazi Khadim said that Muhammad Usman Diplai served the literature selflessly; he was an ideal person, Sanghar novel became his identity. Yes, literature is my identity.

Renowned writer Professor Syed Zowar Naqvi said that Muhammad Usman Deplai is a minaret of Sindhi literature. Writer Idris Jatoi said that Muhammad Usman Deplai brought the truth of journalism to the fore in the form of a newspaper.

Mansoor Qadir Junejo said that Muhammad Usman Deplai was the only writer who responded to GM Syed's criticism in the form of Sheikh Al-Mashaikh.
