LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem met police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office and listened to their concerns and issues, issuing on-the-spot orders for their resolution.

According to the spokesperson, the mother of martyred Constable Imtiaz Hussain submitted an application seeking recruitment of her grandson in the police department along with financial assistance, upon which the IGP directed the Additional IG Punjab to consider the matter.

On the request for restoration of service of Lady Constable Rukhsana Hussain, the IGP issued directions to DIG Establishment-I for provision of relief.

Furthermore, on the request of the wife of martyred Constable Akhtar Abbas for provision of a house, necessary instructions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab.

Similarly, on the request of the wife of martyred Constable Muhammad Sadiq for provision of a house, DIG Welfare and Finance was directed to examine the matter.

IGP Abdul Kareem also issued orders on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotions and welfare measures.
