Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Friday honoured Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khalid Mehmood on his retirement from service during a farewell meeting held at the Central Police Office

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Friday honoured Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khalid Mehmood on his retirement from service during a farewell meeting held at the Central Police Office.

On the occasion, the IGP Punjab presented him with an honorary shield, commendation letter and a cash award in recognition of his services for the Punjab Police.

DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana also presented an honorary shield and bouquet to DSP Khalid Mehmood.

Senior police officers appreciated his professional contributions and congratulated him on completing his service tenure with honour, while wishing him success in his future life.

Speaking on the occasion, IGP Abdul Kareem said that retired officers and personnel of Punjab Police were valuable assets of the department and their services would always be remembered.

He said that Khalid Mehmood had performed his professional responsibilities with dedication, honesty and commitment throughout his career.

DSP Khalid Mehmood thanked the IGP and other senior officers for their guidance and support during his service and said that serving in the police department had been a matter of great pride for him.
