Infiltration attempt of Fitn-al-Khwarij foiled, several Afghan Taliban posts destroyed

WANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Pak armed forces foiled an infiltration attempt by Fitna al-Khwarij and destroyed several posts in response to unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban in Angoor Adda along the Pak-Afghan border.

Owing to the timely and vigilant action of the Pakistan Army, the infiltration attempt was thwarted. Following their failure, the Afghan Taliban targeted the civilian population. As a result of the firing, three civilians, including two women, were injured and rushed to Wana Hospital.

In the South Waziristan area of Zalol Khel, Angoor Adda, unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban was met with a strong retaliatory response from the Pakistan Army, resulting in the destruction of several Afghan posts.

Following the effective operations of Ghazab-Lil-Haq, the Afghan Taliban, frustrated by their setbacks, have begun targeting civilians.

Local residents strongly condemned the firing incident by the Afghan Taliban and called for a firm response from the Pakistan Army.
