Indus Skills Development Center holds women’s cricket tournament

SANGHAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) A women’s cricket tournament was organised at the Tando Adam Stadium under the banner of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and Development board by the Indus Skills Development Center for its trainee students.

The event aimed to promote sports activities among female students, encourage healthy engagement and foster teamwork. Three teams Computer IT Assistant, Dress Making and Hair & Beauty Services participated in the tournament with enthusiasm.

During the matches, players demonstrated commendable skills, coordination and positive sportsmanship. The Computer IT Assistant team was knocked out in the semi-final stage, while Dress Making and Hair & Beauty Services advanced to the final.

In the final, the Dress Making team secured the championship title through disciplined bowling, strong batting performance and effective teamwork.

At the closing ceremony, Principal Imran Hingoro distributed trophies and certificates among the winning team. Administrator Nimra, Farzana, Ms Arooj and other staff members were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Hingoro said that such healthy and recreational activities played a vital role in the physical and mental development of students. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing quality skill-based training along with co-curricular activities to ensure the holistic development of youth.
