HASSANABDAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) A group of 512 Indian Sikh pilgrims visiting Pakistan to participate in the annual Jor Mela and the 420th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev Ji performed religious rituals at Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hassanabdal on Saturday.
The pilgrims were brought to the gurdwara in 11 special buses under tight security arrangements, officials said.
Authorities said accommodation, transport, medical assistance and security arrangements had been made for the visitors. The pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the facilities and thanked Pakistani authorities for the arrangements made during their stay.
Additional Secretary Shrines Nasir Mushtaq said the facilities were being provided in accordance with the directives of Evacuee Trust Property board (ETPB) Chairman Qamar Zaman.

According to the schedule, the pilgrims arrived at Panja Sahib after visiting Gurdwara Sacha Sauda in Farooqabad. They are scheduled to leave for Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur on June 14 and visit Gurdwara Rohri Sahib in Eminabad on June 15.
The main ceremony marking the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev Ji will be held at Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore on June 16, while the pilgrims are expected to return to India on June 19 after completing their 10-day visit.
