IHC summons PTV's CFO along expense record

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday summoned PTV’s Chief Financial Officer in person on March 13, with a report containing the expenses for the last two years.

Justice Muhammad Asif heard a contempt of court case for non-payment of pension and dues to retired employees of ptv.

Former Director Admin Zafarullah Khan and other petitioners appeared in the court along with their lawyer Waqas Malik Advocate.

The Islamabad High Court had sought details of expenses for the last two financial years from PTV. Despite the court orders, PTV’s records of expenses for 2023-24 and 2024-25 could not be submitted.

The court adjourned the hearing by summoning PTV’s Chief Financial Officer along with the records for the next hearing.
