IGP Rizvi joins funeral prayers for Constable Ali Anwar at Police Lines HQ

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi led police officers in offering funeral prayers for Constable Ali Anwar at Police Lines Headquarters, where a large number of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police officers and personnel gathered to pay their last respects.

An official told APP on Wednesday that senior police officers and personnel attended the funeral prayers to express solidarity with the bereaved family and pay tribute to the late constable's services.

IGP Rizvi offered heartfelt condolences to the family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the irreparable loss.

The IGP Rizvi assured the bereaved family that Islamabad Police would extend every possible support and continue to stand by them during this difficult time.

Rizvi said the welfare of police personnel and their families remained a priority for the department, adding that the sacrifices and dedication of every officer and jawan would always be remembered.

Islamabad Police paid rich tribute to the late Constable Ali Anwar and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the families of police personnel in times of need.
