IG visits polio worker injured in Bhakkar attack

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) IGP Punjab Abdul Karim, along with Waseem Ahmed Sial, DPO Bhakkar and other senior officers visited DHQ Hospital Bhakkar.

The IG visited polio worker Muhammad Zubair who was injured in the Dajal check post attack and inquired about his well-being.

On this occasion, he also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured polio worker. The IG said that the martyred personnel sacrificed their lives and prevented the suicide bomber from entering the police check post.

A suicide attack had targeted an police checkpost in the Dajal area of Bhakkar district on Thursday evening.
