IG hosts farewell ceremony of AIG Operations, SP

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Inspector General (IG) of Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir on Wednesday host farewell ceremony for Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Dr. Sami Malik and Superintendent of Police (SP) Faryal Farid on their posting to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here at the Central Police Office and presented the Police Commemorative Shield to both the officers.

On this occasion, IG Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir appreciated their professional services and said that both the officers performed their duties in different capacities in the Ranges, Quetta and Central Police Office with utmost honesty, hard work and professionalism, which was a source of pride for the Balochistan Police and the citizens.

The IG Police said that the services of Dr. Muhammad Sami Malik and Faryal Farid would always be lauded.

He also expressed his best wishes for both the officers and hoped that they would bring glory to the institution by performing their duties with the same passion and dedication in their new responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by Additional IG and Commandant Balochistan, Constabulary Ashfaq Ahmed, Additional IG Operations, Shahzad Akbar, DIG Headquarters, Hassan Asad Alvi, DIG Police Quetta, Imran Shaukat and other senior police officers.
