Iftar dastarkhawans arranged for needy in KP

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Social Welfare Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday arranged sixty iftar dastarkhawans in various areas of the province wherein more than fifteen thousand people were provided food.

The iftar dastarkhawans were arranged on the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi.

More than 3490 people were provided iftari in four dastarkhawans at Swabi, 3301 people were provided food in eight dastarkhawans at Swat and 1415 faithful attended eight dastarkhawans in Peshawar.

About 1548 people were provided food in DI Khan while 1180 people were served in two iftar dastarkhawans in Hungu.
