ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Islamabad Police organized a special one-day medical camp at Police Lines Dispensary on the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to provide better healthcare facilities to police officers and personnel.
An official told APP on Tuesday that Assistant Inspector General Logistics, Abdul Haq Umrani and District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool visited the medical camp and reviewed the facilities being provided to police officials.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>The official said the medical camp was organized with the cooperation of DHO Islamabad, Dr. Umar Wahab of Umar Diabetes and Shabeeh-ul-Hasnain with the objective of ensuring improved healthcare services for police personnel.
He said medical consultations, health screening and awareness regarding various health issues were provided during the camp.
AIG Logistics, Abdul Haq Umrani, appreciated the efforts of the organizers and said such initiatives were essential for the health, welfare and well-being of police officials.
