ICT Police ensure Fajr security; DIG Tariq reviews arrangements

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police remained actively engaged in ensuring security arrangements for worshippers during Fajr prayers across the Federal capital.

An official told APP on Monday that Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq, along with senior police officers, conducted visits to review duty deployments and security measures at mosques.

He said the DIG Tariq inspected checking procedures and monitoring mechanisms, directing officers to maintain vigilance and perform their duties with professionalism.

The official said Islamabad Police continue to prioritise the safety and security of worshippers to ensure a peaceful environment at religious places.
