Hyderabad sizzles at 44°C as residents suffer extended power outages

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Hyderabad endured intense heat on Sunday as temperatures soared to 44°C, enhancing citizens’ misery amid prolonged electricity load shedding across the city.

The Meteorological Department has reported that temperature might be soar to 46 C with strong hot winds and increasing heat intensity, forcing most residents to remain indoors.

Citizens are advised to avoid visiting city unnecessarily and drink plenty of water to resist dehydration.

Met Department has also asked people to take care of the children and elderly persons.

Residents faced additional hardship due to long and unannounced power cuts.
