Hyderabad's development top priority: Governor Kamran Khan Tessori

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Kamran Khan Tessori received a warm welcome from party workers and citizens upon his arrival in Hyderabad.

As he reached Shahi Bazaar, people showered petals and raised slogans in his support.

Speaking to the media later, Governor Sindh said that Hyderabad is the second-largest city of Sindh and its development remains a top priority.

He stated that discussions had been held with the Prime Minister regarding development packages for Hyderabad and assured that commitments would be fulfilled.

According to the Governor, Rs 5 billion has been approved by the Federal government for the reconstruction of roads in Hyderabad, while proposals worth Rs 62 billion for other development projects have also been submitted to the federation.

He assured that the issues of electricity, gas, and water supply would be taken up with the relevant authorities and that practical steps would be ensured for the completion of public welfare and pending projects.

He further added that measures would also be taken to resolve issues related to IT training so that modern facilities could be provided to the youth.

He emphasized that while development projects are underway across Sindh, Hyderabad has been placed on a priority basis.
