Hyderabad police vow strict action after arrest in child molestation case

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) On the instructions of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, DSP Cantt Hyderabad Paras Bakhrani visited nine-year-old Iqra, daughter of Muhammad Juman Thebo, at Civil Hospital Hyderabad after she was molested within the limits of Check Post Pabban.

In-charge CP Pabban, Inspector Khalid Dahri, also accompanied DSP Bakhrani during the visit. DSP Bakhrani met the victim’s family and assured them of full cooperation on behalf of SSP Hyderabad.

She directed the hospital administration to provide the best medical care to the child and ensure no negligence in treatment.

The accused, Muhammad Ayub, was arrested after an FIR was registered in the case. Further legal proceedings are underway.

SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar said those involved in such serious and inhumane crimes deserve no concession.

“The police stand with the victim’s family and will fulfill all legal requirements to ensure the accused receives the severest punishment under the law,” he said.
