Husband arrested for allegedly killing wife in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Police have arrested a man for allegedly killing his wife four months after the incident in the jurisdiction of Civil Lines Police Station.

According to police spokesman, the accused allegedly strangled his wife following a domestic dispute and later dumped the body in a street in an attempt to conceal the crime before fleeing the area.

Civil Lines Police traced and arrested the suspect using technical and human intelligence. The Investigations revealed that the victim was the suspect’s second wife.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said the arrested suspect would be challaned in court with solid evidence to ensure due punishment under the law.
