Hub Police foil human trafficking attempt, arrest three facilitators

HUB, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Hub Police successfully thwarted an attempt to illegally transport individuals abroad through “Dunki” routes, taking 15 people into protective custody and arresting three alleged facilitators involved in human smuggling.

According to police, the operation was carried out under the directives of SSP Hub Mirza Bilal Hassan and led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Berot Police Station. The individuals taken into custody were attempting to travel abroad through unlawful means.

Three suspected facilitators were arrested during the operation. Police confirmed that interrogation is underway to identify other members of the human smuggling network. Authorities emphasized that further actions are being taken to trace and apprehend additional suspects linked to the racket.

Officials stated that strict and indiscriminate action will continue against all elements involved in illegal human smuggling, ensuring that such attempts are curbed to protect citizens and uphold the law.
