Hotel owner, event organizer booked over late-night party in capital

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police registered a case against a hotel owner and an event organizer for allegedly holding a late-night party in violation of restrictions imposed by the district administration in the Federal capital.

An official told APP on Monday that the case was registered at Kohsar Police Station following a complaint filed by a First Class Magistrate of ICT Islamabad.

The official said authorities found a private event continuing late into the night at a hotel in F-6 Markaz despite restrictions imposed under orders issued by the district administration.

According to the FIR, hotel owner Shujaat-ul-Fazal and event organizer Faisal were nominated in the case for allegedly allowing the gathering to continue beyond the prescribed timings.

The official said the accused were booked under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for allegedly violating official orders promulgated by a public servant.

Police said the matter came to light during enforcement of administrative orders aimed at maintaining public order and regulating activities during restricted hours.

The official said further investigation was underway and legal action would be taken in accordance with the law.

Islamabad Police has urged citizens, businesses and event organizers to comply with all lawful directives and administrative regulations to help maintain order and security in the federal capital.

The allegations are subject to investigation and final determination by a court of law.
