Hilal e Ahmar Thalassemia center organizes blood donation camp

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) The Hilal e Ahmar Thalassemia Center, in collaboration with civil society and Team ABS,

organized a blood donation camp at Block No 17 Chowk to collect blood for children

suffering from Thalassemia on Tuesday.

A large number of citizens and donors participated in the camp, which remained operational

from Iftar until Sehri to facilitate donors during Ramazan.

According to the organizers, donor registration was also conducted to maintain

a database for future medical needs.

Speaking at the event, Incharge Hilal e Ahmar Thalassemia Center Ghulam Masood Mirza

and Team ABS Incharge Malik Abdullah said the initiative aimed to collect blood donations

for innocent children to include them in the celebrations of Eid ul Fitar.
