High security for churches

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) Police made stringent security measures at churches across the district, a police spokesperson

said Sunday.

SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar visited several churches and met with the administration

to review security arrangements.

He also inspected the duty points and briefed the policemen to remain high alert during their duties.

More than 600 officials had been deployed at significant churches throughout the district. Elite Force

squads are patrolling the surroundings of major churches, while traffic police personnel are stationed

to maintain the smooth flow of traffic.

Every individual, car, and motorcycle is being thoroughly checked before entering the premises of the churches.

To ensure foolproof security, walkthrough gates and metal detectors have been installed at key entry points.

Lady police officers were also deployed for the security of female visitors.

All SDPOs and SHOs were present in the field to monitor the situation and ensure the implementation of the security plan, the spokesperson added.
