HEC appoints Prof. Dr. Inayatullah Rajpar as NAEAC vice chairperson

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has appointed Prof. Dr. Inayatullah Rajpar as Vice Chairperson of the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC), in recognition of his distinguished academic leadership and significant contributions to agricultural education in Pakistan.

According to the SAU spokesperson, the appointment, approved by the Chairman HEC in his capacity as Controlling Authority of the Council, was formally notified by the HEC Coordination Division. Prof. Dr. Rajpar, who is currently serving as Dean, Faculty of Crop Production at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam has been appointed for a four-year term.

The appointment has been widely welcomed in academic circles as a major recognition of Prof. Rajpar’s scholarly standing and a matter of pride for Sindh Agriculture University. It is also seen as an acknowledgement of the university’s expanding role in strengthening quality assurance mechanisms and accreditation standards in agricultural higher education at the national level.

Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor of SAU Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Sial congratulated Prof. Dr. Rajpar termed the development a proud moment for the university.
