A hearing was held today at the Regional Office of the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman) in Sukkur regarding complaints filed against Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) in the Sukkur region here on Friday

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) A hearing was held today at the Regional Office of the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman) in Sukkur regarding complaints filed against Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) in the Sukkur region here on Friday. The session was chaired by Regional Head Syed Mahmood Ali Shah.

All complainants appeared before the forum, and their grievances were heard in detail. The complaints, primarily related to mismanagement, were thoroughly examined. After due deliberation, the issues raised by the complainants were addressed in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.

During the hearing, the agency was also briefed on the vision and directives of the Honourable Wafaqi Mohtasib, which emphasize prompt service delivery, transparency, and accountability in public service institutions.

Representing SSGC at the hearing were Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Abbasi, Manager Billing Sukkur Division, Saeed Ahmed Korejo, Manager Billing Larkana Division, and Muhammad Nawaz Mahar, Superintendent (Legal), who assisted in clarifying matters and facilitating the resolution of complaints.
