Health official arrested in Vehari over fake NTS record

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) officials have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in securing employment in the health department Vehari on the basis of fake NTS record.

According to ACE officials, accused Babar Ali, nominated in FIR No. 11/2021 registered with Anti-Corruption police station Vehari, was arrested Monday, May 4, 2026.

The official allegedly prepared and submitted forged National Testing Service (NTS) documents to obtain appointment as a dispenser in the health department Vehari.

The arrest was made by circle officer Vehari Mansoor Khan under the supervision of Regional Director Anti-Corruption Multan Basharat Nabi.

Officials said the forged NTS record had been declared as fake during the inquiry process.

The Anti-Corruption Establishment stated that the crackdown against corrupt elements is being intensified on the directions of Director General Anti-Corruption Punjab Sohail Zafar Chattha. Officials reiterated that the Punjab government’s zero-tolerance policy against corruption is being implemented strictly across the province.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
