Hazrat Ali’s (RA) courage and teachings remain timeless: Azma Bokhari

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has said that the courage, bravery and determination of Hazrat Ali (RA) are timeless and unparalleled, and his teachings continue to serve as a guiding light for humanity.

In her message on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali (RA), she said that the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) described Hazrat Ali (RA) as the “Gate of the City of Knowledge,” highlighting his immense wisdom and intellectual stature in Islamic history.

Azma Bokhari said that the life of Hazrat Ali (RA) offers countless lessons for humanity, adding that even at the moment of his martyrdom he gave priority to prayer, which reflects his elevated moral and spiritual character.

The provincial minister said that foolproof security arrangements have been made across the province on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali (RA).

She added that officers and personnel of the Punjab Police are fully vigilant and performing their duties with dedication to ensure the security of processions and mourning gatherings so that mourners remain safe from any potential threat.

She further said that all processions will conclude before Maghrib prayers and appealed to the public to cooperate with the police and the administration to help maintain law and order.

Azma Bokhari assured that the Government of Punjab and security institutions are fully active and committed to ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining peace through all possible measures.
