Hazara Police establishes 44 tourist assistance centers, deploys additional personnel for Eid-ul-Adha security

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Hazara Police have finalized a comprehensive security and traffic management plan across the Hazara Division to ensure peaceful Eid-ul-Adha celebrations and provide maximum safety to citizens and tourists.

According to Regional Police Officer (RPO) Hazara, Nasir Mahmood Satti, additional police personnel will be deployed at Eid congregations, mosques, public places and other sensitive locations throughout the division during the Eid holidays.

To facilitate and protect tourists visiting the region, police have established 44 Tourist Assistance Centers at various locations across Hazara. Special traffic arrangements have also been put in place to maintain smooth flow of vehicles during the busy holiday period.

Police contingents will remain deployed in markets and crowded commercial areas to enhance security and maintain law and order.

The RPO warned that strict legal action would be taken against individuals involved in aerial firing, one-wheeling, drifting and other dangerous activities.

Hazara Police also appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, follow traffic rules, avoid unnecessary travel to hilly areas during rainfall and stay away from fast-flowing rivers and waterways to prevent accidents during the Eid holidays.
