Hajj According to Sunnah’ highlighted in Saudi ministry’s Hajj 1447 AH awareness drive

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has launched an innovative media and awareness program for the Hajj 1447 AH season to educate pilgrims through digital platforms and scholarly guidance.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the program will continue daily until the 13th of Dhu Al-Hijjah and features renowned scholars discussing key educational and faith-based topics aimed at strengthening the spiritual values of Hajj.

The first episode, titled “Hajj According to the Sunnah,” focused on the importance of performing all Hajj rituals in accordance with the teachings and traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to ensure validity and acceptance of worship.

SPA told APP that scholars participating in the program highlighted common mistakes committed during pilgrimage and urged pilgrims to seek authentic religious guidance only from official and verified scholarly sources.

The awareness initiative is also aimed at enhancing religious understanding, promoting correct worship practices and providing pilgrims with accessible guidance through advanced digital communication platforms.

Saudi authorities continue to expand educational and awareness services as part of broader efforts to facilitate pilgrims and enrich their spiritual journey during Hajj 1447 AH.
