The Government of Pakistan has announced a landmark connectivity relief package, providing free local Saudi SIM cards to all Hajj 2026 pilgrims. This initiative aims to keep families connected without the burden of international roaming charges, offering up to 40GB of data and 600 calling minutes for travelers.
Every citizen traveling under the official government Hajj scheme 2026 can collect a pre-loaded Saudi SIM card before they even board their flight.
The Ministry has structured these packages to match the length of your stay:
- Long Package (40 Days): 600 minutes (local and international) and 40GB of mobile data.
- Short Package: 300 minutes and 25GB of mobile data.
You can pick up these SIMs at your designated Haji Camp or official residence. A critical warning from the authorities: each SIM is strictly linked to a single passport. The Ministry cautioned that activating a second, private SIM could lead to the immediate cancellation of your official government-issued connection. If you run out of data, top-up counters are available directly within your accommodation buildings in Saudi Arabia.
