On special directive of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Balochistan Transport Department has taken an important step to provide quality, safe and reliable travel facilities to the citizens and has formally launched the Green Line Bus service from Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology (SMBZANIC)

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) On special directive of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Balochistan Transport Department has taken an important step to provide quality, safe and reliable travel facilities to the citizens and has formally launched the Green Line Bus service from Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology (SMBZANIC).

According to the spokesperson of the the Green Line Bus service would be operated daily from 7 am to 11 pm, while the departure of the bus has been ensured after every 45 minutes so that the citizens do not have to wait.

He said that this bus service will provide travel facilities to the public by passing through various busiest places of the city, including BA Mall, FC Hospital, Nawab Killi, Zarghoon Abad, Haji Manan, Labor Colony, Abdul Khaliq Chowk, Christian Colony, Highway Mart, Maliza, Nasiran, NUST and SMB.

ZANICQ are included.

He further said that the aim of this project is to provide easy, timely and comfortable access to the Sheikh Muhammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology Quetta (SMBZANICQ) for citizens, especially patients and their caregivers

According to the Transport Department, the Balochistan government is prioritizing public welfare projects and steps would be taken to further improve the urban transport system in the future.
