Govt distributes scholarship cheques among SAU students

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) The Sindh Education Endowment Fund Trust handed over scholarship cheques among 61 students of 2024 batch of the Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, here on Saturday.

According to the varsity's spokesman, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Altaf Ali Siyal while addressing the ceremony said financial hardships would not be allowed to prevent any capable student from completing their higher studies.

He announced that the SAU would soon start its own endowment fund to support the students.

Prof Dr Ismail Kumbhar, who heads Students Teachers Engagement Program, said such financial support allowed the deserving students to complete their higher education.

He said soon the scholarships from the foreign organizations like Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) would be secured for the SAU's students.

Director General Sindh Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) Waqar Hussain Phulpoto was also present on the occasion.
