Governor stresses unity, strong campaign for PPP in KP

TIMERGARA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi stressed the need for unity, coordinated efforts and an intensified political campaign to secure maximum electoral success for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the province.

He expressed these views during a meeting held at the residence of District President Nawabzada Ahmadzeb Khan, where he interacted with representatives of various PPP wings, including the Peoples Youth Organization, Peoples Students Federation, Peoples Lawyers Forum, and Peoples Labour Wing.

The meeting was attended by Provincial President Muhammad Ali Bacha, Chairman of the Red Crescent Frzand Ali Wazir, Divisional President Malik Azmat, former candidate Shakir Najamuddin Khan, PYO District President Amjad Hussain Salarzai, PSF District President Hassan Zeb Khan, Fazal Hussain, District General Secretary Naim Khan, former provincial assembly candidate Haji Wazirzada, and District Information Secretary Nawabzada Irfan Khan.

Governor Kundi appreciated the successful holding of the workers’ convention in Timergara, calling it the outcome of the dedication and hard work of party workers and office-bearers.

He congratulated the participants and said the PPP leadership, including Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, has always prioritized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that key party positions such as the Central General Secretary, Governor, and Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme have been entrusted to leaders from the province, reflecting the trust of the party leadership.

The Governor urged workers to intensify preparations for upcoming elections in order to secure maximum seats and strengthen the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, paving the way for development and prosperity in the province and across the country.

Participants of the meeting lauded Governor Kundi for attending the workers’ convention and appreciated his services for the party and the province.
