Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with Korean Consul General Joohoon Kim at Governor House on Friday

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with Korean Consul General Joohoon Kim at Governor House on Friday.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Pakistan-Korea relations, trade, investment and the promotion of bilateral cooperation.

The Governor Sindh said that there is a strong need to further enhance business to Business and Government to Government relations between Pakistan and Korea.

He added that expanding Pakistan-Korea cultural, educational and scholarship exchange programs would further strengthen people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The Governor said that Sindh offers a conducive, secure and attractive environment for the promotion of investment, industrialization and trade cooperation. He further stated that the Korean government can greatly benefit from the skilled and unskilled workforce available in Pakistan.

The Korean Consul General Joohoon Kim expressed interest in enhancing cooperation across various sectors. Both sides agreed to further strengthen economic, trade, educational and cultural relations.
